Rocco Rottweiler

There has been some delivery issues with Rocco’s food so I decided to change to a new one. The transition has been completed and the new food is Royal Canin Giant Adult. It’s kibble is quite bigger. The average weight of a single kibble is about 7 grams and Rocco has to chew it while he eats. (more…)

Thanks to the good food Rocco the rottweiler is till growing. We went to the vet for his scheduled pills and drops and of cource checked his weight. He is currently 53 kgs (about 117 lbs), so he gained 3 kgs in 2 months. At his age of 19.5 months it seems to be a very good weight. (more…)

It’s been a while again since the last time I posted something. Rocco has been growing steadily the past months and is becoming a big people friendly donkey:)

The last time we went to the vet was for one of his regular manipulations. As every time we go to the vet I checked his weight to see how is his developement going. He is a little bit above 110 lbs (50 kgs) at the age of almost 18 months. I suppose he will grow some more and settle. (more…)

I’ve neglected this blog for a few months. So this is a small recap of what happened with Rocco.
Rocco will be 10 months old next Tuesday. He has grown quite a bit in the last month. Now he is 40 kg (about 88 lbs). (more…)

Rocco is now 5 months old. He also had his rabies vaccine shot.
Today 2 of his puppy teeth fell down so I expect old of them to get changed soon.

Rocco is now 4 months old. He has all vaccines but rabies and can freely go outside. I am now in the process of teaching him to do his “things” outside and I have some progress in that.
And his diarrhoea is gone.

I just called the doctor and he said to stop any food and give him only water. Some guys at the dog forum also advised me the same thing. They also told me to give him rise with the water. (more…)

Today Rocco started having very bad diarrhoea. He is still very energetic and playful, but not long after I feed him he is pooping liquid. It smells very bad and is not fun to clean. (more…)

Today I went to the municipality’s office and registered Rocco. I also paid tax for owning a dog. The tax is 6 euro (about 9 USD) per year. (more…)
