Recap of the last few months
August 17th, 2010I’ve neglected this blog for a few months. So this is a small recap of what happened with Rocco.
Rocco will be 10 months old next Tuesday. He has grown quite a bit in the last month. Now he is 40 kg (about 88 lbs). Read the rest of this entry »
5 months old
March 22nd, 2010Rocco is now 5 months old. He also had his rabies vaccine shot.
Today 2 of his puppy teeth fell down so I expect old of them to get changed soon.
4 months old
February 23rd, 2010Rocco is now 4 months old. He has all vaccines but rabies and can freely go outside. I am now in the process of teaching him to do his “things” outside and I have some progress in that.
And his diarrhoea is gone.

diarrhoea 3
February 20th, 2010Rocco got 3 injections, 2 pills and one powder for water.
I will give him one of the pills (DiaDog ‘n Cat) now and he will stay hungry till tomorrow morning, when he will get his second pill. After that I will have to boil him some rise and feed him only that.
The powder (Royal Canin Rehydration Support) will go to his water bowl.

February 20th, 2010I just called the doctor and he said to stop any food and give him only water. Some guys at the dog forum also advised me the same thing. They also told me to give him rise with the water. Read the rest of this entry »
Rocco has diarrhoea
February 19th, 2010Today Rocco started having very bad diarrhoea. He is still very energetic and playful, but not long after I feed him he is pooping liquid. It smells very bad and is not fun to clean. Read the rest of this entry »
Rocco is now registered
February 17th, 2010Today I went to the municipality’s office and registered Rocco. I also paid tax for owning a dog. The tax is 6 euro (about 9 USD) per year. Read the rest of this entry »
Third vaccine and chip
February 16th, 2010At last the time for Rocco’s third vaccine came. It is DHPPi +L both from the Nobivac series by Intervet. For Rabies we will have to wait another month and on 16th of March we will be visiting the doctor again. Read the rest of this entry »
Rocco is now 3 months old
January 22nd, 2010Today is Rocco’s birthday. He is now 3 months old.
